Responsive restaurant site with integrated newsletter system
United Ramen is an exiting new Japanese restaurant in London. As a newcomer to this highly competitive sector, it needed an online presence that would help it stand out from the crowd.
Our aim was to create a brand experience which matched the personality of the restaurant: contemporary and fun, but with a strong commitment to excellent service and quality. Knowing that customers often make their restaurant choices on the move, we recommended a responsive design which would look great no matter what type of device was used to view it, be it mobile phone, tablet, laptop or widescreen monitor.
We integrated a content management system (CMS) so that the restaurant's busy team can easily update the website with special offers and new menu items. As an ambitious business, United Ramen has plans to grow and open new restaurants in the near future and the website we built reflects this: new locations can easily be added to the website using the CMS so they won't have to commission a new site. We also incorporated a newsletter system, and created a series of custom e-mail templates, to enable United Ramen to communicate with its rapidly-growing group of fans.
Finally, to make sure that as many people as possible would discover the best noodle place in town, we optimised the website's content for search and hooked it up to social networks including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The result is this pleasing and informative website which continues to generate new and repeat business for the restaurant.
